Not a world on wire – a world made of wire

The puppet pulled in the strings on which it walked (hung): Wired-wired-networked.

The wire coiled, coiled and compacted into springs.

Active, full of tension and initially also in a pose ready to fight, ready to spring forth, to start moving.

Muscle fibres, nerve cords, vein networks.

Power concentrated in itself, ready to transform itself into energy, to ensnare itself, to spin itself in.

To break out again, to break out into new spaces, into a new space-time.

Recently, pictures have been created on man-sized canvases. Here, the wire man stretches out in front of the landscape or out of the surf. Mostly, however, he is entangled with his own likeness in an as yet unfinished confrontation.
